The Club
Probus is a club for men who are retired or semi-retired. It is a non-political, non-religious group. Its aim is to provide a range of speakers and topics and fellowship.
The club meets every Thursday with the meeting starting at 10:30 a.m, preceded by free refreshments, which are served from 09:45 a.m.
Club Venue
The Club meets in the Catholic Church Hall, New Road, Brixham. This is situated on the main road leading into Brixham approximately 300 metres from the main shopping centre and bus terminus.
The hall is accessible for wheelchair access by a ramped entrance and has disabled toilets and a deaf loop system. All facilities are on the ground floor.
Fees
Currently over 40 men attend the meeting each week. New members are very welcome. The first three visits are free. Entry fee is £3 per visit. There is the option of purchasing raffle ticket(s) at £1. Cashless (card) payment is preferred. There is no joining fee or annual fee, and no dress code.
During August we do not book outside speakers but create our own entertainment, with a reduced entry fee.
If you are interested in joining us, please either come to our next meeting or email info@brixhamprobus.co.uk for extra information.
